Yoga & Low-back Injury
Some injuries require a full healing before you can begin yoga again. Pulled muscles and ligaments require complete rest. If you are up to it, you can still practice asanas that strengthen the surrounding muscles. Low-back injuries are difficult to assess, since each individual experiences this pain differently. Regardless, you should not perform any asanas that cause further pain. You may wish to focus on the meditation and breathing aspects of yoga, which are proven to help eliminate stress.
